Swami Agnivesh: Is he Hindu or Christian? Agnivesh’ pravesh / entry in Orissa again: The Masquerade of Fire – Agnivesh has entered Orissa again and uttered several things, which would be taken as evidence by the colluding Christians all over the world. Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Swami Agnivesh[1], president of the World Council of Arya Samaj[2] and prominent human rights activist[3], said police administration had sided with rioters targeting minority in Kandhamal district. “We condemn all killings. Whatever we have seen, it is similar to Gujarat riot[4] that occurred in 2002. Bureaucracy and police have become party to the communal strike[5]. It is a matter of great concern,” he said. Swami Agnivesh said since complicity of administration was clear rest of the country would not be satisfied with the existing probe announced by the State Government. He said if SIMI could be banned why could not Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal be put in the same category as there was enough evidence that theses organizations were fast emerging “terrorist outfits”.
Agnivesh and Staines: His Christian connection has been intriguing and also his leaning towards them in spite of suspicion thrown on him. As he was accused of his “saffron” connection, he had tried to prove his “secularism” or “anti-Hinduism” and thus praised Staines like anything making Gladys Staines as epitome of “Spirituality” and so on. The Christians were definitely pleased as it is still appearing in their websites[6]. He visited Manoharpur along with Valson Thampu in the wake of the assassination of the Australian “social worker”, Graham Staines[7]. Swami Agnivesh joined[8] with Reverend Valsan Thampu[9] “took up cudgels against fundamentalist fury” as the media reported, protesting both the violent killing of Graham Staines, and the Gujarat carnage in 2002. Thampu has been member and office holder of many-many Christian associations. He as a member of the National Commission for Minority Education maintained his stand in the case of Da Vinci Code.: “I will look for possible objections with a broad mind. Art must maintain discipline and should have nothing that is historically or factually incorrect“.
Swamy Agnivesh then went on attacking anything that is “Hindu”, thus becoming a “perfect secularist”. Note how he expressed his agony in the context of imposing Sarasvativandana, in one of the most illiterate states of India[12]: " I am worried that the political misappropriation of the mythology, ritual and symbolism of Hinduism will do enormous harm to this great and tolerant faith: that it will alter the profound treasures of this way of life beyond repair and recognition" ("Invoking Sarasvati among the Unlettered)“. However, he is not at all worried about the myths floated by his Christian colleagues – like immaculate conception, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension etc., and sticking to the “doubtful Thomas myth” in India. Agnivesh for mediation or confusion: Of late, “Agniveash” has been poking nose in all issues and confusing others. From Tamilnadu, I remember once he was claiming that he would book a case on Jayalalitha, when she reportedly claimed that she would commit Sati, but nothing happened. If he Karunanidhi remembers this, he would immediately offer a “doctorate” through Madras University. His antics have been many that are unworthy of the “saffron dress” he wears and fool others as “Hindu monk”. The following are mentioned just for illustrative purpose and not exhaustive: V In 1999, he vigorously campaigned against the murder of Graham Staines and praised Gladys Staines for her “spirituality”. V In 2002, he condemned the “Gujarat riots”. V In March 2004, he declared[13] that he would contest Atal Bihari Vajpayi. V Last May 2007, he created a muddle in the ongoing tussle between Sikh clergy and Dera Sacha Sauda has now reached at the point of another confusion[14]. The perplexity has been gone widespread whether the Dera Sachha Sauda had apologised to mediator Swami Agnivesh or not. He condemned the killing of Staines, but not Swami Lakshmanananda saraswati: As for as Orissa is concerned, he claims that he led a multi Religious Pilgrimage to the site of the senseless killing of Graham Stewart Staines and his two little sons in Orissa in the month of March 1999. But in August 2008, on the day of Janmasthami, he could not prevent the assassination of Swami Lakshmananda Saraswati by the terrorists or humanists according to him? Then, what he achieved in nearly 10 years? What he was doing between 1999 and 2008 aiding and abetting with the killers of the Swami Lakshmananda Saraswati? Negotiating with VHP and Bajarang Dal? Or researching into human rights of Christians and Hindus? Then what for he weasrs the “saffron”? Just like Roberto de Nobili, he wants to fool Hindus? What he wants – a Padmasri like Gladys or Nobel? He may be thinking that his Christian and Mohammedan friends may nominate him for “Nobel Prize” for his activities, but unfortunately, they exploit him for his inconsistent activities. He has been fooling Hindus by opposing and attacking Hindus, but his Christian and Mohammedan friends are not satisfied with him suspecting his RSS-links[15]. Intellectuals issue appeal for harmony: This type of news is also sickening, because, being locals, they could be knowing the facts. Therefore, they should not or need not have taken nearly 10 days to come forward for this exercise. A peace march[16] was organized and it received spontaneous response with several people joining it with delegation of artists, students, former bureaucrats and journalists meeting Governor State urged to take steps to check violence. With different parts of the State remaining tense over communal conflicts following murder of Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Swami Lakshmanananda Saraswati, intellectual from all walks of life took out a peace march appealing for harmony here on Monday (01-09-2008). A delegation met Governor Murlidhar Chandrakant Bhandare and expressed its deep anguish over the State’s insouciant approach to deal with the situation. “We appeal to you as the first citizen of the State to take all appropriate, necessary preventive, remedial and corrective measures to uphold our constitutional commitment to secularism and ensure that the investigation reaches its logical end, the victim gets justice and attacks do not escalate into organised communal riots,” representatives submitted said to the Governor. They said, “we have been a tolerant society and rise of religious extremism, if not opposed and defeated now will lead to perverse communal polarization and cause irreparable damage to the social cultural and secular fabric of our society.” Journalist Rabi Das said the State must show its resolve to face the challenge from forces spreading hatred and take steps to ensure that such kind of violence did not take place in future. Painter Jatin Das was of the opinion that there should be immediate solution to conversion or re-conversion, which were root cause of the violence. Writer Sitakant Mohapatra, former ambassador Abasar Beuria, former advocate general Jayant Das, former director general of police A. B. Tripathy and many activists assembled to condemn the violence. Insurance and Riots: The Cuttack LIC official says[17] that they have been doing remarkable business in the state (of Orissa). Then, naturally, the business people and agents have a good business. As the “coffin” manufacturer would be waiting for dead bodies, these business could flourish only when such riots occur, violence erupt, properties get damaged etc. We do not know whether this has been incidental or ancillary to the events of Orissa. Agnivesh: He has to be questioned for his antics and anti-Hindu activities. His website gives his achievements[18]. Very good indeed, but why he behaves differently? He is not giving any confidence to Hindus, as non-Hindus feel. Note his wordings: V “We condemn all killings: But why you do not condemn immediately? What about your “saffron-clad Swami”. How is / as he different from you? You want to differentiate the dead bodies also? V Whatever we have seen, it is similar to Gujarat riot that occurred in 2002: But you do not want to see the dead bodies of Hindus. As you close eyes of the Hindus burned alive in Gujarat, here also, you do not want the Hindus get killed in the violence. V Bureaucracy and police have become party to the communal strike: Hindus can also accuse like that. This just like what the biriyani-eating-Mehbooba tells about the dead of Kashmir and Jammu? How is that you also talk the same language? Whay were you doing when Hindu children and women were taken hostages and fighting was going on? Are you controlled by the spirit of Graham and completely impregnated with the spirituality of Gladys? V It is a matter of great concern,” he said: Definitely, when you talk like this, all would be concerned about your utterances or blabbering. V Swami Agnivesh said since complicity of administration was clear rest of the country would not be satisfied with the existing probe announced by the State Government: You can understake your probe along with Valson Thampu or John Dayal, as that would only satisfy your Christian friends. V He said if SIMI could be banned why could not Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal be put in the same category as there was enough evidence that theses organizations were fast emerging “terrorist outfits”: Mark your words, Agniveash, you are setting fire here. What about the “Baptist guerrillas” waging war against India? The same Baptist Mission here talks nonsense. When VHP and Bajrang Dal waged war against India? What happened you Swamiji? His contact details are as follows as appearing in his website and he should be addressed for his utterances:

All the students of Arya Samaj should feel ashamed of this “AGNIVEASH”.
What Swami Dayananda Saraswati would think about him?
One day, this “man” may declare that “ARYA SAMAJ” is not Hindu, just like the “Communist crooks” infiltrated Sri Ramakrishna Mision did some 10- or 15 years back.
They successfully got declared that Sri RKM was a minority, that too, a non-Hindu institution, as Sri Ramakrishnma ate pork etc., cooked by a mohammedan cook and so on!
Then, Supreme Court had to hold it is not so!
